“I sprained my ankle!” Typical reaction to a common tibia joint injury. A sprain is only a description of the injury mechanism but not the diagnosis. Sprain is typically a deformation of part of the body. A physiotherapist will be able to diagnose the extent of the strain.

 

Prior to our diagnosis your first reactions will determine the longevity of the rehabilitation process.

 

Knowing that the swelling will appear during the first 4-6 minutes after an (joint or muscular) injury and that the physiotherapeutic rehabilitation of most injuries is defined by the diversion of the swelling from the first minute, the number of therapeutic sessions will depend on you and your immediate reactions. Thus, by decreasing the amount of sessions not only do you save money but you are also able to return to your favorite activity mush faster.
