Clinical
Podiatric Insoles
Production - Application
Orthopaedic orthotic insoles cover a wide range of conditions but it is not a one size fits all solution.
All kinds of therapies must be the outcome of a clinical evaluation. This principle is applied at the Physiolysis Physiotherapy Centre. Insoles are produced within our premises are and administered after rigorous evaluation. They are thermoformed and are made out of thermoplastic in order to have a customized friction angle of the subtalar joint using thermoplastic chock. Physiotherapists that produce the insoles use a strict protocol in combination with the clinical image and the symptoms of each patient individually.
Patients may benefit by:
- The reduction of pronation forces
- The reduction of forces driving the 1st metatarsal to drop
- The free movement of the big toe, the function of which is essential for stance, knee and hip movement during pacing
A fundamental goal at Physiolysis Physiotherapeutic Centre is to sooth by offering comfort and easy application for the orthotic insoles.
