Heel spur

“Either I walk, run or even while I am standing up straight I feel as if there is a spike up my heel”

This is the most common way to clinically describe the pain underneath your heel which derives from an inflammation in the plantar fasciitis insertion of the heel bone.

During the clinical examination we test the orthotic soles seeking the Q angle which will determine the strain on the plantar fasciitis during pacing and heel insertion. Then, we measure stance phase via video-screening to determine whether the subtalar joint is pronated or not and therefore calculate the suitable angle of your thermoformed orthotic soles.
